Think about the following statement: A person's name is an important part of his or her identity. Do you agree with this statement? Why or why not? Explain your answer using information from your own experiences.

Elizabeth I would have to disagree with this, because some people may change their name, or someone might think something different when they hear the persons' name.
Mason I agree with this statement because your name is one way of seperating you from everybody else and it helps you communicate easier because you will know when somebody is talking to you.
Jake W. Ryan I would have to dissagree with this statement. I don't think what your name is has impact on how your identity. I cant really anay experience that relates to this statement.
Sean-John This is true because if people walked around with out a name, then it would be sooooooooo hard to talk to people because like my mom always used to call me sean because i looked like him and when she would yell sean trying to talk to me he would come running in. So yeah it is a big part of someones identity
Melani I would have to disagree with this statement. Someone could have the same name as you and you may not even know it. The other person with the same name could have done a crime and you could get get in trouble with the police just because someone with the same name as yours broke the law.
I dont really see how someones name can relate to their identity. People cant really pick their names so i dont see how it relates to them. So no I dont agree with this statement
christian Jimenez I agree with this statement. I belive it is important because ur name is used for everything, on ur bills,ur name is on ur house ur,cars,ur drivers lisents. I have to use my name for facebook and stuff like that. So yes I do agree that a person's name is importent.

Using a name to identify somebody,, ok yeah its important but otherwise you cant really tell how a person is or acts by their name if you dont know them.
i know that but nomatter the name they will always act the same so you cant really judge them on their name you would have to do it by the way they act.

Chance I disagree, your name isn't a choice of yours and even if you didn't have one you'd still have a personality. Your name is only something people use to associate with you. (I don't think the last sentence makes sense)
I disagree with you Emily because you have to have a name or your not going to get a car or even your drivers licenc and if you don't have that then your not going to transport your self any where.
Well yeah your name is important to be identified aand yeah you use it for almost everything but for true identity as in who you are besides your nme, no it cant identify who you are wen your not signing checks or bills

Yes it is the most convenient way of identifying somebody. Without a name it would be quite difficult.
